Celebrate Juneteenth and Support Black Worker Empowerment at the AFRAM Mass Gala Fundraiser
The Coalition of Black Trade Unionists-Boston Chapter is excited to announce our participation in the upcoming SEIU AFRAM Mass Juneteenth Gala Fundraiser. This significant event will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 6 PM to 10 PM EDT, at the 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East Massachusetts in Quincy, MA. We gather not only to commemorate Juneteenth but also to contribute actively to the ongoing struggle for justice and the empowerment of Black workers.
Event Highlights:
Live Entertainment: The evening will feature a vibrant array of performances including dance, poetry, music, and more.
Buffet-Style Dinner: Guests will enjoy a wide selection of delicious dishes.
Engaging Discussions: The event will include panel discussions led by prominent community leaders and activists.

Keynote Speaker: Celia Johnston, President & CEO and a founding member of the Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition (MAWOCC), will grace us with her insights.
